  A Rajasthan Adventure: Our December 2023 Family Trip Day 1: Jaipur - A Royal Start (10th December) We embarked on our Rajasthan adventure on the 10th of December, setting off from Gurgaon at 4 AM. A long drive later, we reached the Pink City of Jaipur around 8:30 AM. Our first stop was the enchanting Jal Mahal, floating serenely on the Man Sagar Lake. We then ventured to the majestic Nahargarh Fort, offering panoramic views of the city. A visit to the iconic Amber Fort and its bustling Meena Bazaar rounded off our day. Exhausted but exhilarated, we checked into our hotel in the evening and explored the local market before calling it a day. Kedarkantha: An Epic Winter Trek in the Garhwal Himalayas   Have you ever dreamt of scaling a snowy peak, surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan vistas? Well, that's exactly what I did with my friends on one of my winter treks to Kedarkantha in Uttarakhand! Kedarkantha, meaning "Neck of Shiva" in Sanskrit, is a peak located at an elevation of 12,500 feet. The trek is known for its stunning scenery, moderate difficulty, and especially for the opportunity to witness a blanket of snow during the winter months. We embarked on our journey on December 24th, 2020, starting from our base in Gurgaon. After a scenic drive through the foothills, we reached Sankri, a picturesque village that served as our base camp.
